Jens Andersson is a Swedish born designer residing in Amsterdam with over 20 years of experience in the field of industrial design, design management and design leadership. 
With a user centered design approach and curiosity, he thrives in a team environment where he can be part of the creation of meaningful and delightful experiences. 
Most recently he has been leading the the transformation of the industrial design processes in the bicycle group Accell, which included using AI supported insights, ideation and design research, but also the creation of brand specific Design DNA's translating brand values to characteristic and recognizable bicycles for several different target audiences and categories. 
The projects and work he has been working on spans a wide variety of products ranging from medical products and consumer electronics, and mobility product through construction equipment and connected propositions. 
He has long experience of brand management with licensees of the Philips brand guiding, shaping and implementing brand touchpoint across a wide range of products and categories. 
He holds a BaSc in Product Design engineering from the University of Skovde, Sweden and a MA in Industrial Design from the Umea Institute of Design, Umea University, Sweden. After starting his career working at top-tier design agencies in Sweden, Denmark and the US he continued to join the in-house design team at Philips in Amsterdam, Netherlands and most recently leading the industrial design team at the bicycle group Accell.
